VERTIGO is a short film that explores the inner emotional landscapes of a man and a woman moving through states of psychological turbulence. In public, the woman appears composed and effortless, seemingly untouched by external pressure, while in solitude her thoughts unravel and expose internal conflict. The man, unable to remain with his anger, releases it through motion, escaping on his motorbike as the city dissolves into speed and blur. The film unfolds through contrast, stillness and acceleration, appearance and reality, silence and sound: constructing an emotional dialogue between restraint and release.

The film premiered during Amsterdam Dance Event 2023 and was later nominated for the International Film Festival The Hague 2024. Presented within a program focused on emerging cinematic voices, the nomination marked the transition of the project from an intimate, passion-driven work into a film recognized within an international festival context, situating VERTIGO within contemporary explorations of emotion, movement, and urban experience.
