OLYMPIC ART EXHIBITION MILANO 2026 — "SELENE"

Selene explores the relational dynamics between light and darkness, individuality and collectivity, silence and strength. The work reflects on emotional and collective renewal through cyclical movement, a recurring motif within Pablo Henninger’s practice. Eight female figures are arranged in a circle, individually distinct yet visually unified, their white garments cutting through the surrounding darkness to form a collective radiance. Captured from a cinematic aerial perspective, the image moves between the ritualistic and the intimate, translating internal emotional states into a visual landscape where continuity, vulnerability, and shared energy generate light even in moments of darkness.
The work was selected for the “Olympic Art” international group exhibition at Artemida Gallery in Milan, presented during the period of the Milan–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics in February 2026. Within this context, Selene debuts publicly as the first released artwork from an edition of five and is available for acquisition during the exhibition. Taking place in a city shaped by global attention and cultural exchange, the exhibition situates contemporary visual art within a broader dialogue of movement, performance, and international gathering.
